XV Međunarodna olimpijada iz astronomije i astrofizike



Petnaesta Međunarodna olimpijada iz astronomije i astrofizike održana je u Kutaisiju u Gruziji u periodu od 14. do 22. avgusta 2022. godine.
Srbiju su predstavljali učenici:
1) Katarina Dobrosavljević, III razred Gimnazije "Svetozar Marković" Niš,
2) Stefan Branković, IV razred Matematičke gimnazije, Beograd,
3) Lazar Tanasković, IV razred Gimnazije ”Takovski ustanak”, Gornji Milanovac,
4) Sofija Kovačević, III razred, Matematičke Gimnazije, Beograd i
5) Vukan Janković, IV razred Matematičke gimnazije, Beograd,
i rukovodioci tima: dr Sonja Vidojević (Društvo astronoma Srbije, Beograd) i mr Vera Prokić (Gimnazija "Svetozar Marković", Niš).


Odlazak na olimpijadu je bio moguć zahvaljujući podršci Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Srbije. Društvo astronoma se zahvaljuje na podršci Ministarstva.

Društvo astronoma Srbije se zahvaljuje i turističkoj kompaniji "Imapala" d.o.o. za pomoć u organizaciji putovanja.


XIV International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics



XIV International Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics IOAA was held in the period from 14th until 21st of November 2021. This year competitors from Serbia have won three bronze medals:
Jovan Markovic - bronze medal,
Djordje Milic - bronze medal,
Momčilo Tošić - bronze medal,
Nikolija Cuckić - learning,
Jovan Arizanović - participation.
The Olympics were organized as an ONLINE event with the main organizers in Bogota, Colombia. Organizing the Olympics was funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Development MPNTR. Thank you!

International year of Astronomy in Serbia



The International Year of Astronomy 2009 (IYA2009) is a global celebration of astronomy and its contributions to society and culture and marks the 400th anniversary of the first use of an astronomical telescope by Galileo Galilei. The aim of the Year is to stimulate worldwide interest, especially among young people, in astronomy and science under the central theme "The Universe, Yours to Discover". IYA2009 events and activities will promote a greater appreciation of the inspirational aspects of astronomy that embody an invaluable shared resource for all nations. The IYA2009 activities are taking place at global and regional levels, and especially at the national and local levels. National Nodes in each country are running activities throughout the year, aimed at establishing collaborations between professional and amateur astronomers, science centres, educators, and science communicators.
